Lynn Swanson has been a beloved worship leader in the Twin Cities for decades. She delights in joyfully worshiping the Lord, and taking others along into His presence. She is a seasoned pianist and instructor, with a strong passion to share everything she has and everything she knows with other worshipers.
I am a beginner, and I haven’t had much musical training at all. Is this course for me?
Yes! I start at the very beginning of learning the piano, and the formation of chords. Before you know it, you will be playing a worship song!
I am quite experienced on the piano. Will this benefit me?
Absolutely! I continually teach my most challenging, advanced skills along with everything else.
How exactly does The Worship Keyboardist work?
This course works much like one-on-one lessons. You will learn about one video lesson per week, and try to practice every day for 10-30 minutes. Some video lessons come with PDF to view, download, and print. There’s tons of lessons ready for you right now, with new content added weekly. And, there are Biblical, spiritual lessons to lift your spirit and keep us all in the Word as we learn. That’s it!
Is the monthly price just for me, or for my whole family who lives with me?
We are happy to offer the same price for everyone living in your home! The only difference is that once anyone has viewed a video lesson, the site will show it as “done”. So, you might want to keep a separate checklist for each family member taking the course.
How will I know what lessons are new?
We will let you know about all new content through email, the Facebook community group, and each new lesson will say “New” next to it for one week.
How can I keep track of the lessons I have already learned?
Next to each lesson, there is a box that will show if you have already viewed the lesson or not.
Are there other online groups that I need to join, too?
Yes! Please join our Facebook community, which provides fun information, answers questions, and gives accountability. You will also need to join WorshipCharts.com, to inexpensively purchase music. The details about joining these two groups are in your welcome email.
What happens when I am done with all the lessons?
If you stay on track of studying about one lesson per week, combined with the new content we add weekly, you will always have new lessons to learn!
